I recently spent a night at Loch Ness Country House, and a few things stood out. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, perfect for a peaceful stroll. My room, the Executive Double Room, had lovely decor and a cozy ambiance, making it a nice retreat. The staff greeted me warmly and provided excellent service throughout my stay, especially during breakfast, where the selection was varied and delicious. I did encounter some issues. The check-in process took longer than expected due to only one person at the desk. Parking was a hassle since the lot was full, and I had to park nearby, which wasn't ideal. The bathrooms could use a bit of an upgrade, as they felt a bit outdated, but the charming decor of the hotel overall made up for it. So, while there were a couple of hiccups, the beauty of the hotel and the service made the stay worthwhile.

The Junior Suite was super comfortable with a lovely vibe. Great bedding and cozy atmosphere made it nice to relax. The staff were really attentive, which added a nice touch to the stay. But, the room did feel a bit dated overall. Not a huge deal, but a refresher could make it even better.

A Good Stay but Pricey for What You Get
Had a massive room with an adjoining sitting area, which felt like a scene outta a movie. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and went out of their way to help, which is a big plus in my book.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.
